Happy New Year!

We are 4 hours and 23 minutes into the new year right now. 2016 is here.

I've noticed that resolutions seem to be "out" among my friends. Instead of making "resolutions," friends seem to prefer making "acclimations" or "statements" about what they will do in this new year. It all seems the same to me, but whatever.

Me, I'm old-fashioned and perfectly happy to make resolutions. I made mine about two weeks ago and printed them off so I can see them everyday. This year, I will give away one box or bag of stuff every month. I will attend one event out of my house per month. I will do one home improvement per month as well - the first is to figure out how to incorporate my new R2-D2 towels into my bathroom. I am looking at some free classes at Michaels for my "event out of my house" and am starting to look for things that others might use for the "box or bag of stuff."

Welcome to 2016, music therapy friends. I hope it will be a good year for you and yours.
