Tuesday at Teachers Pay Teachers: My Store - musictherapyworkscom

Okay, okay. This is definitely a self-promoting post, but I know that you all will forgive me for taking this morning to show off some of my own stuff...won't you?
musictherapyworkscom
As you probably know, if you spend any sort of time looking at my blog posts or my website, I enjoy making things - paper things, song things, therapeutic things. I don't do much sewing to share with others - my seams are never quite straight, and, let's face it, Janet Stephens has that type of music therapy prop COMPLETELY and PERFECTLY covered over at Bear Paw Creek, so why would I ever think that was something to offer the music therapy community - go see Janet! She's got all sorts of stuff to sell to us - body bands, bean bags, GREAT storage - seriously, if you are looking for music therapy props, go to Bear Paw Creek! So, since Janet has those types of props covered very well, I decided that my contribution would be original therapeutic music experiences (TMEs) and visual aids - things I love to make and that I think I am pretty good at putting together.

Hence, my website where I sell my collections of therapeutic music experiences (TMEs) also known as sing about songs and my Teachers Pay Teachers store where I offer digital copies of my visual aids. Oh. In my TPT store, I also offer some inexpensive forms designed to assist us all in coordinating treatment, feedback, and other sorts of stuff that we have to do as music therapists.

I do my best to keep the prices low - that is on purpose for several reasons. First of all, I know what it is like to be a music therapist. There have been times in my life when I have had to choose between purchasing something for music therapy treatment or eating meat for a month. I get that money is often tight, so plunking down $35 for a book of TME ideas may not be the most economical. Second, my prices are low because I want people to use my stuff - materials, songs, ideas, forms, and ways of doing things. Third, my digital files are do it yourself type things, so anyone who purchases one of my files still has to pay for things like paper, ink, double-sided tape or glue, and laminating.

Okay - here are some of the things that are available for you to peruse and (hopefully) purchase.

**NOTE: This is one of the rare posts that I make where I do get a financial benefit from anything that you purchase on my sites. Please know that before you purchase anything - I do make a little bit of profit from anything that you buy using these links. I do not make any profit if you just look...
